About Me

Gracie is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baylor University. Her work with adolescents in a long-term psychiatric residential treatment facility and students in New York City public schools has deepened her passion for supporting children, teens, and families.

Gracie became drawn to counseling through a belief that having someone truly listen can make a meaningful difference, particularly during periods when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. She meets each client with compassion, empathy, joy, and a genuine approach. She strives to create a warm, conversational space where clients can be themselves, explore what they are experiencing, and feel supported as they navigate challenges and transitions. Her hope is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges, and move toward a life that feels meaningful, joyful, and purposeful. She is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, and life transitions. She also has a particular interest in supporting children and parents as they navigate the challenges that can come with divorce and family transitions.

Creativity is an important part of Gracie’s own life, and she brings this perspective into her clinical work. As a singer, she has experienced firsthand the way music and creative expression can offer connection, comfort, and a sense of peace. She wants to explore the people, experiences, and passions that are meaningful to each client.

Her clinical approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine connection. She draws from person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and somatic work, tailoring her work to each client’s individual needs and goals. Sessions with Gracie are conversational and reflective, with space for both deeper self-exploration and practical tools that can help clients navigate challenges in their everyday lives. She is completing her clinical training under the supervision of Amanda Roude, LCSW.
